Winning an award is always a rush but every accolade we've earned in 2024 is also a testament to the difference we have made for our customers and partners, and to the expertise and commitment of the incredible team of people who work at Datacom.
The wide-ranging talent and skill of our people was highlighted throughout the year with numerous awards singling out our teams as the best in their field or category in Australia, New Zealand and the APAC region. Datacom's progress toward becoming a more sustainable business and tech partner was also recognised multiple times.
Being named as the 2024 Adobe Digital Experience Emerging Partner of the Year in both the Asia Pacific and Australia New Zealand categories was an exciting win for our team and a testament our continued commitment and dedication to creating exceptional digital experience for our customers.
Adobe Partner Sales Manager, Conor Campbell described the win as "a superb achievement for a team who go above and beyond, with such a high standard for excellence and innovation in digital experience."

Our Product Services Group (PSG) team was awarded the IDG ANZ Commercial Services Reseller of the Year and the ISG ANZ Growth Partner of the Year awards, with the team’s Associate Director, Greg Furlong, also receiving the 2024 One Channel Australia Lenovo Legend. This award celebrates a legend who tirelessly combines expertise and exceptional creativity to deliver outstanding solutions.
Our security team collected a number of accolades too, with Subhathra Paramasivam winning the Mimecast SOC Analyst of the Year in recognition of her hard work and dedication to our partners at the Chillisoft awards, while the wider team took out Mimecast New Zealand Partner of the Year as an Elite partner, as well as Rubrik's APAC Partner of the Year award.
We were also honoured to be recognised by so many of our partners as a valued partner delivering meaningful impact, including awards for ASUS Chrome Education Development Partner of the Year, Dell’s Partner of the Year for Marketing Excellence and F5's Software and Flex Consumption Program Partner of the Year.
In a milestone achievement, Datacom became the first Kiwi company to earn HP's Catalyst 5-Star Partner status, the highest recognition, up from our 4-star status in 2023. We also maintained our Catalyst 5-Star Partner status in Australia. The Catalyst programme is focused on positive change centred around climate action, human rights, and digital equity, with 5-Star status reserved for partners who demonstrate a dedication to driving sustainability and create lasting change. We have finished the year being named as Sustainability Partner of the Year at the 2024 HP Partner Awards.

We were also awarded Schneider Electric’s Most Sustainable Partner of the Year for the second year running, reflecting our continued commitment to sustainability, both in supporting our customers’ journeys and in our business. Our focus on sustainability is fundamental in achieving our vision to make a difference in people’s lives and to enable our customers to thrive and shape their own futures. Datacom has made a commitment to be net carbon zero by the end of 2030, with these awards reflecting our progress on our sustainability journey.
Bouchra Jihany, Tammy-Lynn Jones and Suz Miller were all named as finalists for the annual Reseller News Women in ICT Awards, with Wednesday Wilson winning the Graduate category awards reflecting her accelerated growth, positive contribution to the wider business and the incredible outcomes she has delivered for our customers.
At the 2024 Auscontact Association South Australia Excellence Awards, Phillip Bayne was awarded winner of the Coach/Quality Professional of the Year award and Kat Francis was awarded winner of the Operational Support Professional of the Year award, with the wider Connect Academy winning the Employee Experience Initiative of the Year award for engagement and culture.
At this year's Reseller Innovation Awards, we were finalists in three major categories and our team was named 'Tech Partner of the Year' in the cloud category for work done with the University of Canterbury to modernise its infrastructure to a flexible cloud model with improved security and efficiency.
Our 2024 awards reflect our expert team's skill and continued dedication to excellence and going the extra mile for customers and partners. It is rewarding to see the team's commitment being recognised by the industry and it sets the bar even higher as we look to the future.
