Datacom has been accepted into the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Managed Service Provider (MSP) partner programme for the eighth year running.
The AWS MSP Partner Program recognises and validates AWS Partners like Datacom with a proven track record and experience, who provide end-to-end AWS solutions to customers at any stage of the cloud journey, including planning and design, building and migration, operations and support, and automation and optimisation.
Attaining the AWS MSP designation requires completing an extensive independent audit to ensure that the partner’s business health and technical capabilities meet a high bar.
Datacom’s AWS Practice Manager Paul Dunlop says achieving the AWS MSP status is a reflection of the level of expertise across the wider team and their strong commitment to ensuring great outcomes for customers.
“Our focus is on ensuring our customers can access the full potential of their AWS implementation, and that we support them across their whole cloud adoption journey, from the planning stages through to building and migration, and ongoing optimisation,” says Dunlop.
“Ultimately our goal is to help our customers become more agile, achieve real savings, and create a true foundation for innovation to support their ambitions, now and in the future.”
NZ Post delivers millions of items around the world every year and is one of the organisations that Datacom has supported with their migration to AWS, which is enabling the company to give its people the tools they need to collaborate and succeed and to flex and adapt as their business evolves.
Datacom also supported the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA, formerly known as the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning) with moving to AWS, which resulted in a 65% reduction in cost to operate and create a self-funded project. This migration project was recognized at the AWS Global Public Sector Partner Awards, where DEECA and Datacom clinched the Global AWS Partner Network (APN) Public Sector Partner Award for these efforts.
Datacom is the longest standing AWS MSP provider in the Australasian market and has local cloud specialists available to support its customers across Australia and New Zealand.
Datacom is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, holds the AWS Migration Competency, and is part of the AWS Well-Architected Partner Program.
